Burns' Night, and a New Short Story

Happy Burns' Night, everyone!
For those of you who don't know what that is, January 25th is the birthday of Scottish poet Robert Burns, and Burns' Night is a celebration, typically observed in Scotland, of his life and work. So for all you fans of poetry out there, read a few Robert Burns poems and have a dish of haggis today! (That last part is optional, as I understand haggis can be difficult to find and is ill-received in many parts of the world.)

In other news, I have a new story up on Avenir Eclectia. Celeste is in for quite a surprise. Click Here to read 'Surprise'.

  1. I love Robert Burns' poems :) Ae Fond Kiss, Bonnie Doon, Auld Lang Syne, My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose, and others are ones I've either memorized or partially memorized, and I love singing them.

  2. Have you heard Andy Stewart sing it? Or Karen Matheson?

    1. I don't believe so. I'll have to look those versions up when I have a chance. : )
